About Sober Living

One of the major dilemmas facing men in new recovery, is the attempt to continue a sober life in an unsafe environment. Living in a positive and supportive environment allows clients to work on and develop the skills needed to continue and maintain a lifestyle while abstaining from drugs and/or alcohol.

As a private, community sober living residence originally founded in 1995 in Orange County, Beach Landing aims at addressing the needs of adult men who are continuing their recovery. It has met the needs of its clients through continued support of employees and support groups.

Although, Beach Landing offers a gamut of services, it believes the ultimate responsibility lies within each of its clients to maintain sobriety.

Beach Landing's Sober Living program remains steadfast in its philosophy of educating through a social model approach, with an emphasis of shared, democratic self-governance, peer support, while encompassing the principals of 12-Step-Programs such as Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous (AA/NA).
